About the Role

The Application Engineer will provide technical support for the company’s Power Systems division, helping customers identify suitable power solutions while supporting sales teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Support the development and implementation of technical solutions for the Power Systems business.

• Recommend appropriately sized generator sets and suitable power distribution systems.
• Prepare technical proposals and quotations for equipment supply and installation.
• Supervise equipment installation and commissioning to ensure compliance with international standards.
• Promote Caterpillar Power Systems solutions by demonstrating their technical advantages and long-term value.
• Work closely with regional sales teams to provide technical support during customer engagements.
• Coordinate with Field Service teams to establish and implement maintenance service agreements.
• Perform additional engineering duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc. or B.Eng.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in power systems or industrial equipment.
