FairMoney is building a mobile banking platform and point-of-sale (POS) solution for emerging markets. Its services include a digital microcredit application for Android and iOS devices, current accounts, savings accounts, debit cards and POS solutions for merchants and agents.

The company has a diverse workforce representing more than 27 nationalities and works to reshape financial services for underserved communities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new merchants and generate revenue.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to support their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with merchants.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product and Operations teams to support a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

The recruitment process includes a 30-minute screening call with a member of the recruitment team, followed by a 30- to 60-minute technical interview with the hiring manager.
