Schubbs Dental Clinics is recruiting an Electronics Engineer in Lagos to test, maintain and repair electronic systems and biomedical equipment across its three clinics. The role involves identifying equipment faults, completing installations, performing routine maintenance and documenting technical work.

The successful candidate will serve as the point of contact when an electronic or biomedical unit develops a fault. Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline and have at least two years of relevant experience. Candidates must not be older than 40.

Key Responsibilities

The Electronics Engineer will:

• Test electronic systems used across the organization’s three clinics.
• Perform routine maintenance on electronic systems and equipment.
• Diagnose faults affecting clinic equipment.
• Repair faulty electronic equipment where required.
• Install biomedical equipment across the clinic locations.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance on biomedical equipment.
• Respond when an electronic or biomedical unit stops working.
• Record the technical work completed on each unit.
• Prepare reports explaining maintenance and repair activities.
• Document future maintenance or technical work that will be required.
• Work with relevant clinic personnel when diagnosing or resolving equipment problems.
• Help ensure that equipment faults are identified and addressed appropriately.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of electronic circuits.
• The ability to diagnose faults in electronic systems and equipment.
• Good communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively with other team members.
