Labour Compliance and Workplace Safety
The position carries responsibility for ensuring that HR practices are consistent with applicable Nigerian labour requirements and internal company policies.
The role also includes overseeing workplace health and safety protocols and supporting an appropriate occupational environment.
Candidates with practical experience handling HR compliance, employee documentation, workplace policies or occupational health and safety processes should make that experience clear in their CV.

The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Maintain reliable HR databases.
- Use employee data to produce useful management reports.
- Monitor relevant HR metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through technology.
- Support the adoption of modern HR systems and digital tools.

- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations, Labour Law or a related field.
- A Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Active CIPM professional certification — minimum requirement.
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience across core HR functions.
- Experience managing HR activities across multiple locations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
The combination of professional certification and practical HR experience is particularly important for this position. Candidates should therefore make both easy to identify on their CV.

If you have worked in Oil & Gas or another highly regulated industry, that experience is also worth highlighting where it is relevant to the position.
Salary and Work Arrangement
The advertised salary is ₦500,000 to ₦750,000 per month.
The role is full-time and onsite in Ikeja, Lagos, and the recruitment is being handled by Recruitmentbod Africa on behalf of a client in the Oil & Gas industry.
Application Deadline

Candidates should avoid waiting until the final day to submit their CV, particularly because recruitment agencies may review applications as they are received.
How to Apply
Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:
recruitmentbodafrica@gmail.com
Use the following subject line:
HR Executive – Ikeja
Before sending your application, check that your CV clearly shows your HR experience, active CIPM certification, educational qualifications and experience with the responsibilities listed above.
Final Advice for Applicants
This is a senior HR opportunity with a broad operational remit, so applicants should focus on demonstrating practical experience rather than relying only on academic qualifications.
The active CIPM certification is a stated minimum requirement, while experience across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, compliance and HR systems will help demonstrate alignment with the role.
Review the requirements carefully, tailor your CV to the position and make your most relevant HR achievements easy for the recruiter to identify.
