The Senior Officer, Global M&E will support the organization’s efforts to improve monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and learning systems across its global operations.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Global M&E team, supporting the implementation of organizational standards, strengthening data collection processes, improving reporting quality, and helping country teams use evidence to guide programming decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Strengthen Global Monitoring and Evaluation Systems
The Senior Officer will contribute to improving organizational M&E standards and systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting updates to M&E manuals, guidelines, and tools.
- Helping implement global M&E strategies and minimum standards.
- Supporting country teams with data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Improving consistency in monitoring practices across programs.

Data Management, Reporting, and Analysis

Provide Technical Support to Country Programs
The Senior Officer will serve as a technical resource for assigned country teams.

- Supporting the design of monitoring frameworks.

- Reviewing program monitoring approaches.

- A Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Epidemiology, Public Health, Statistics, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least five years of practical M&E experience.
- At least three years supporting M&E activities with humanitarian organizations in developing countries.
- Experience managing monitoring systems for large-scale emergency programs.
- Knowledge of donor reporting requirements, including USAID, BHA, ECHO, EU, UN, and similar frameworks.
Candidates should also demonstrate experience in data management, program evaluation, and evidence-based decision-making.
Technical Skills Required
The ideal candidate should have experience with:
- DHIS2 and health information systems.
- Database design and information management.
- Mobile data collection platforms such as Kobo, Ona, or ToolBox.
- Statistical analysis tools such as EPI Info, SPSS, R, or STATA.
- Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
