Key Responsibilities

Performance management

  • Coordinate the group’s performance management cycle, covering goal setting, mid-year reviews, year-end assessments and performance discussions.
  • Help managers and employees establish clear and measurable objectives that support business priorities.
  • Monitor performance results and identify trends, gaps or areas requiring further action.
  • Support the preparation and implementation of performance improvement plans when required.
  • Produce performance reports and insights for management decision-making.
  • Explain performance management policies and procedures to managers and employees.

Learning and development

  • Help identify learning and development needs through performance reviews, skills assessments and business requirements.
  • Coordinate training programmes, workshops and other learning interventions.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external training providers to deliver relevant development activities.
  • Monitor training participation, completion rates, participant feedback and learning outcomes.
  • Contribute to career-development and organizational capability-building initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate learning and development records and prepare periodic reports.

Talent management and employee engagement

  • Support talent identification, succession planning, career development and employee-development initiatives.
  • Assist with programmes designed to develop high-potential employees and critical talent.
  • Contribute to employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Maintain talent-related data and provide insights that support workforce and people-related decisions.
  • Work with business leaders and HR teams to identify and address talent or capability gaps.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
  • At least four years of relevant experience in talent management, performance management, learning and development, or another related HR function.
  • A strong understanding of performance management processes and frameworks.
  • Experience coordinating learning and development programmes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels.

A professional HR certification from CIPM, SHRM, HRCI or an equivalent body will be an added advantage.
