Responsibilities

• Lead project technical teams in delivering consumer and enterprise solutions that meet business requirements and needs.
• Develop designs that support the functional requirements of business application projects, including conceptual, high-level and detailed design specifications for solution build, implementation and support.
• Code applications in accordance with good security coding practices to help ensure that applications are free from common coding vulnerabilities.
• Create and execute or coordinate technical test plans for application changes, new deployments and upgrades.
• Participate in the transition of applications or technical architecture components to testers.
• Fix defects and performance problems identified during testing.
• Work effectively with dependent teams, including vendors, Service Management, Security, Operations, Architecture and Engineering teams.
• Maintain effective access controls for supported systems.

Requirements and Qualifications

• First degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Fluency in English.
• Three to seven years of experience, including at least three years in an area of specialization and experience supervising others.
• Experience working in a medium-sized organization.
• Broad knowledge of business processes within the telecommunications sector.
• Specialized knowledge of IT support procedures, application construction, hardware technologies, systems integration and development techniques.
• Knowledge of software delivery methodologies, especially Waterfall and Scrum.
