About the Role

The HR Business Partner will work closely with Manufacturing, Technical, and Supply Chain leadership teams to align people strategies with business objectives. The successful candidate will provide strategic HR guidance, strengthen organizational capability, improve employee engagement, and ensure effective execution of workforce initiatives across manufacturing locations.

The role also involves partnering with HR Centres of Excellence (COEs) to deliver high-quality HR services while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Provide strategic HR advice to manufacturing and supply chain leadership.
  • Translate business priorities into effective people strategies.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational capability development.
  • Use HR data and workforce insights to support business decision-making.

Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to recruit technical and manufacturing professionals.
  • Support staffing across factories, warehouses, mills, and field operations.
  • Coordinate graduate trainee recruitment and deployment for technical functions.

Performance and Capability Development

  • Lead the annual performance management process.
  • Identify workforce capability gaps and recommend development initiatives.
  • Support leadership development for key operational roles.
  • Promote continuous learning across manufacturing teams.

HR Operations

  • Oversee employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, transfers, confirmations, exits, and HR documentation.
  • Ensure payroll inputs and HR system records remain accurate.
  • Improve HR processes to enhance operational efficiency across manufacturing sites.

Employee Engagement and Change Management

  • Support culture-building initiatives and employee engagement activities.
  • Coordinate employee feedback surveys and action plans.
  • Assist with organizational change, restructuring, and transformation projects.

Organizational Development

  • Implement HR processes covering performance management, compensation, promotions, and talent development.
  • Partner with Learning and Development teams to strengthen workforce capabilities.
  • Identify suitable external training providers where required.
  • Support HR teams in delivering consistent people practices across locations.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI are considered an advantage.
  • 10–12 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • At least 6 years’ experience supporting manufacturing, technical, or supply chain operations.
  • Proven success in workforce planning, employee development, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
