Role Overview

The Analyst – Customer Acquisition and Compliance will collect, analyze, and interpret customer acquisition data to support business decisions.

The successful candidate will monitor SIM registration performance, customer acquisition channels, distribution activities, and compliance requirements while providing regular reports and insights to regional leadership.

This role supports MTN Nigeria’s efforts to improve customer experience, strengthen acquisition processes, and maintain compliance standards across its network.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and analyzing SIM registration performance against customer acquisition channel targets.
  • Reviewing the performance of customer acquisition channels, including:
    • Trade partners and compliance partners.
    • Walk-in centers.
    • Mobile Lite outlets.
    • Connect stores and Connect points.
    • SIM registration agents.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting channel performance data.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports for business review meetings.
  • Maintaining accurate databases to support channel performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Monitoring customer acquisition trends, service effectiveness, and improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting end-to-end device lifecycle management, including tracking device usage, performance, and efficiency.
  • Working with regional teams to follow up on customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date performance reports.
  • Providing analytical support to the Customer Acquisition Manager.
  • Supporting SIM acquisition agent onboarding, training processes, system updates, and exit procedures.
  • Reviewing industry best practices and recommending improvements.
  • Participating in state-level regulatory meetings and sharing key updates with regional leadership.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should meet the following qualifications and experience requirements:

Education

  • A first degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Professional Experience

Candidates should have:

  • 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related area of specialization.
  • Experience working with teams in a structured business environment.
  • Background in project planning, reporting, sales, marketing, customer operations, or related functions.
  • Experience using data mining or analytical tools.
  • Telecommunications industry experience will be an added advantage.
