What You’ll Be Responsible For
As Media and Editorial Coordinator, you’ll support the organization’s external communications through media relations, editorial coordination, and operational management.
Support Media Relations
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with relationships with journalists, editors, and media organizations.
- Researching media outlets and identifying opportunities for outreach.
- Maintaining accurate media contact databases.
- Responding to media inquiries and helping coordinate communications.
- Monitoring daily media coverage and identifying relevant trends.
- Analyzing media coverage to provide useful insights for the communications team.
Coordinate Editorial and Public Engagement Activities
In this role, you’ll also help manage thought leadership content by:
- Supporting the preparation and editing of opinion articles, essays, and media commentary.
- Reviewing written content to improve clarity, consistency, and editorial quality.
- Coordinating editorial schedules, submissions, and revisions.
- Assisting with written and video content published through public engagement platforms.

Strengthen Team Operations
