Position Overview

As the Local Government Area Supervisor, you will oversee project implementation at the local government level for a DFID-funded cash transfer programme. The role combines programme coordination, community engagement, monitoring, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure project activities are delivered effectively.

You will also serve as the primary liaison between the project team and local government authorities, helping maintain productive partnerships throughout the programme.

Main Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Programme Management, Health, Nutrition, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience working with local or international NGOs.
  • Strong programme management and coordination experience.
  • Experience supervising staff or managing human resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate development programmes.
  • Experience preparing, managing, and monitoring project budgets.
