Role Overview

The Cyclotron Technician will be responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of medical cyclotron equipment used for isotope production.

Key Responsibilities

Cyclotron Operations and Isotope Production

The successful candidate will:

• Operate medical cyclotrons following approved operational procedures.
• Support the safe and efficient production of medical isotopes.
• Monitor equipment performance and report technical issues promptly.
• Assist with isotope target loading, unloading, and transfer to radiochemistry laboratories.
• Maintain accurate production records in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.

Equipment Maintenance and Technical Support

Responsibilities include:

• Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on cyclotron systems.
• Maintaining chemistry modules, hot cells, manipulator arms, and supporting equipment.
• Assisting engineers during troubleshooting and repair activities.

Radiation Safety and Regulatory Compliance
