About the Role

Dangote Group is seeking a Relationship Officer – Corporate Sales (Cement) to strengthen its relationships with major business customers and support growth within the cement market.

This role is designed for a commercially minded sales professional who understands corporate selling, client relationship management, and project-based business development. The successful candidate will work with construction companies, contractors, developers, and other large-scale customers to increase sales volumes and build long-term partnerships.

The position requires someone who can identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, negotiate effectively, and work closely with internal teams to ensure reliable service delivery.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Corporate Sales and Business Growth

  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate customers, including contractors, developers, project managers, and large construction clients.
  • Generate bulk cement sales while working toward assigned revenue and sales targets.
  • Identify new opportunities within construction projects and expand the company’s customer base.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements for prospective clients.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Act as a key contact for assigned corporate accounts.
  • Build trust with customers through consistent communication and effective service support.
  • Understand customer requirements related to pricing, delivery schedules, and product availability.
  • Address customer concerns and coordinate solutions when challenges arise.

Market Development and Industry Insights

  • Monitor construction market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand patterns.
  • Identify upcoming projects where cement supply opportunities may exist.
  • Provide market feedback and insights that support business planning and decision-making.

Pricing and Commercial Negotiation

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms according to company policies.
  • Develop suitable supply arrangements for high-volume customers.
  • Balance customer expectations with business profitability objectives.

Internal Coordination

  • Work with logistics and operations teams to support timely product delivery.
  • Coordinate with finance teams on customer credit processes and payment follow-up.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on corporate sales initiatives.

Reporting and Performance Management

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer discussions, and business opportunities.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
  • Monitor performance against agreed targets and identify areas for improvement.
