About Noani Home & Design

Noani Home & Design is an interior design and home decor business focused on providing home furnishings and decor at accessible prices. The company was established around the idea of helping a new generation of Nigerians create practical, less cluttered spaces that reflect their individual style.

The company is now looking for an experienced Project Manager / Head of Project Delivery to oversee interior design and fit-out projects from the point a contract is signed through to final handover.

This is more than a traditional project coordination role. The successful candidate will also be expected to strengthen the systems and technology used to manage projects, giving the business clearer visibility into progress, budgets, responsibilities and deadlines.

About the Project Manager Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of client projects and coordinate the different people and resources required to deliver them.

This includes working with designers, procurement teams, site supervisors, artisans, vendors and installers while keeping projects organised and moving according to agreed plans.

A major part of the position is also digital project management. The company wants to build a more structured, technology-driven approach to project delivery, so applicants should be comfortable using project-management platforms and improving workflows.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager / Head of Project Delivery will:

  • Take ownership of client projects from contract signing through final handover.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines and execution schedules.
  • Coordinate designers, procurement teams, site supervisors, artisans, vendors and installers.
  • Implement and manage digital project-management platforms such as ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana, Notion or Microsoft Project.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and real-time progress tracking.
  • Monitor milestones and hold project teams accountable for agreed deliverables.
  • Lead weekly project review meetings.
  • Prepare executive-level project reports.
  • Identify potential project risks early and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Prepare and review BOQs, quotations, invoices and other project documents.
  • Monitor budgets, change orders, profitability and resource allocation.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget and according to the company’s quality expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project-delivery processes.

Experience and Qualifications

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following or a related discipline:

  • Project Management
  • Engineering
  • Architecture
  • Building Technology
  • Quantity Surveying
  • Interior Design

The position requires a minimum of five years’ experience managing construction, fit-out, interior design or related projects.

Candidates should also have:

  • Strong knowledge of project-management methodologies.
  • Practical experience implementing digital project-management tools and workflows.
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills.
  • Good stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Strong budgeting and reporting skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

A PMP, PRINCE2 or another relevant project-management certification is an added advantage.

Digital Project Management Is a Key Part of the Role

One of the more distinctive aspects of this vacancy is its focus on digital project delivery.

The successful candidate will not simply update spreadsheets or follow existing processes. They will be expected to help establish systems that provide better visibility into what is happening across projects.

Experience with platforms such as ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana, Notion or Microsoft Project can therefore be particularly relevant.

Applicants should explain how they have used project-management software in previous roles where applicable. For example, you might mention experience managing task assignments, timelines, milestones, project documentation, reporting or team workflows.

Managing Interior Design and Fit-Out Projects

Interior design and fit-out projects involve several moving parts. Designers may need to coordinate with procurement teams, contractors, artisans, suppliers and installers, while client expectations and project budgets also need to be managed.

For this reason, the role requires someone who can maintain structure without losing sight of the practical details of project delivery.

Experience managing construction, fit-out, interior design or similar projects should be clearly presented on your CV, particularly where you have been responsible for coordinating multiple teams or external stakeholders.

Budget, Documentation and Reporting

Financial and administrative control is another important part of the position.

The successful candidate will monitor:

  • Project budgets.
  • Change orders.
  • Resource allocation.
  • Project profitability.
  • Quotations.
  • Invoices.
  • BOQs.
  • Project documentation.

Strong reporting skills are therefore important. Candidates should be comfortable turning project information into clear updates that allow management to understand progress, risks, costs and outstanding issues.

What the Employer Is Looking For

Noani Home & Design is looking for someone who can combine project leadership with process improvement.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking responsibility for outcomes rather than simply coordinating individual tasks. They should also be able to identify inefficient processes and use technology to make project delivery more organised and transparent.

Strong communication will matter because the role involves working with internal teams, contractors, vendors and clients.

How to Prepare Your CV

Your CV should demonstrate both your project-management experience and your ability to manage people, budgets and technology.

Where applicable, highlight:

  • Your project-management qualification.
  • At least five years of relevant project experience.
  • Construction, fit-out or interior-design projects you have managed.
  • Project budgets and resources you have controlled.
  • Teams and external contractors you have coordinated.
  • Digital project-management platforms you have used.
  • Project planning and scheduling experience.
  • Risk management and mitigation.
  • BOQ, quotation and invoice experience.
  • Project reporting and documentation.
  • Stakeholder and client management.
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or other relevant certifications.

It is particularly useful to show the scale and scope of projects you have managed rather than simply listing “Project Manager” as a job title.

For example, where appropriate, mention the type of project, your responsibilities, the teams involved and the systems you used to track delivery.
