This type of HR and organizational structure role is similar in responsibility scope to the Group Head, Risk Management, Internal Control and Compliance position within large structured organizations.

Role Purpose

This position focuses on supporting employee performance systems, organizational development processes, and talent management initiatives.

The successful candidate will help ensure that HR processes such as performance reviews, career development, and employee engagement activities are effectively implemented across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the employee performance management cycle, including goal setting, reviews, and appraisals.
  • Assisting with recruitment processes such as shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding coordination.
  • Managing probation confirmation processes for new employees.
  • Supporting career development initiatives including talent mapping, succession planning, and development plans.
  • Coordinating employee recognition programmes and participation in group recognition activities.
  • Handling exit processes, including exit interviews, knowledge transfer, and clearance procedures.
  • Supporting organizational design reviews, job profiling, and job evaluation processes.
  • Assisting industrial relations teams with employee council meetings and workplace feedback reporting.
  • Organizing employee engagement activities such as town halls, feedback sessions, and internal events.
  • Maintaining HR data systems and supporting reporting through dashboards and analytics.

Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants should have:

  • A first degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related field.

  • Experience working in a medium to large organization.
  • Professional certification such as CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, or HRCI is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Ability to handle HR data, reporting, and structured performance systems.
