The First Mile & Last Mile Regional Manager will lead and supervise pickup and delivery operations across Lagos, Oshogbo, and Owerri/Asaba. The role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate execution, exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will manage a team of First Mile & Last Mile Operators, coordinate with internal stakeholders, monitor operational performance, and support continuous improvement across logistics activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise First Mile & Last Mile Operators to ensure timely and accurate pickup and delivery operations.
• Assign daily tasks and routes based on workload, priorities, and customer requirements.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to improve team skills, productivity, and performance.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to identify improvement areas and recognize achievements.
• Monitor team performance and KPIs, including on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and vehicle utilization.
• Take corrective action when necessary to meet or exceed performance targets.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Operations, Procurement, and Customer Service to optimize logistics processes and resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of pickup and delivery activities, vehicle maintenance, and driver performance.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that promotes open communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in logistics operations, transportation, or delivery services.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate team members and drive results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, make decisions, and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology tools and systems for route planning, tracking, and reporting, such as GPS and route optimization software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Candidates must be based in Lagos, Owerri/Asaba, or Oshogbo.

Preferred Qualification

• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field is a plus.
